RG7R–0,6/1 kV Single-core cable, stranded conductor over 6 mm²

Nominal voltage: Uo/U 0,6/1 kV

Maximum voltage: 1,8 kV d.c. also to earth

Standards: CEI 20-13, CEI 20-11; CEI EN e IEC 60228 (CEI 20-29); CEI 20-22 II, CEI EN 60332-1-2 (CEI 20- 35), CEI EN 50267-2-1 (CEI 20-37/2-1); HD 605-A1.

European directives: 2014/35/UE (LVD)  - 2011/65/EC and 2015/863/EU (RoHS).

Conductor: stranded plain annealed copper class 2 CEI EN IEC 60228.

Insulation: hard ethylene propylene rubber (HEPR) compound, of type G7, with reduced emission of halogen (corrosive gases) under fire conditions.

Colour of the core: black

Sheath: PVC of type Rz with reduced emission of halogen (corrosive gases) under fire conditions.
Resistance to UV exposure, measured according to the CENELEC standard HD 605, for a sure outside non protected to sun light installation.
Colour:  light grey.

Marking: continuous marking on the sheath: « ICEL or LOMBARDA RG7R-0,6/1 kV nominal cross section CEI 20-22 II IEMMEQU ECOGAMMA production date Made in Italy », with under the sheath the IEMMEQU thread.
Progressive meter marking.

Minimum installation and handling temperature: + 0 °C

Maximum operating temperature: 90 °C on the conductor.

Minimum usage temperature: - 15 °C only if the cable is not subjected to shocks, vibrations, movements or other mechanical stresses. If the cable is operated at a constant current and so is not subjected to expansions and contractions due to the conductor temperature variations, it is possible to be used even at lower temperatures.

Maximum short circuit temperature: 250 °C on the conductor (for maximum 5 seconds).

Minimum permissible bending radii: 4 times the cable overall diameter.

Maximum pulling force during laying: 5 kg/mm² of the conductor cross section.

Current carrying capacity: see CEI-UNEL 35024, 35026.

Guide to Use: for internal installations, also in wet locations and for external installations; for installation in surface mounted or on metallic structures; direct laying in earth permitted.

See also the guide to use standard CEI 20-67.

These cables are to be used only for electrical power transmission and to be installed only by skilled personal.
