They can be used to connect equipment for fixed automatic fire detection and manual fire alarm systems, whether or not connected to fire extinguishing systems or other protection systems (both active and passive), intended for installation in buildings, regardless of their intended use. They are not suitable for other uses, such as emergency lighting, powering forced smoke and heat extraction systems, electric locks or emergency controls, or other similar applications with operating voltages above 100 V AC. For these applications, cables compliant with CEI 20-105 standards must be used.

The “noBurn” cables with IEMMEQU certification are marked CEI 20-105 (PH 30 or PH 120) to indicate that they are fire resistant in compliance with the CEI EN 50200 and CEI 50362 standards which require a minimum operating time of the cable under test, subjected to direct fire and mechanical shock, of 30 or 120 minutes at 820°C;
