ICEL LAUNCHES THE NEW FTG18 (O) M16 CABLES, CEI 20-45 MARKED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CPR REGULATION

 

The new fire-resistant cables, insulated with G18 rubber, M16 thermoplastic sheath coating, with flexible conductors for fixed installation, fire retardant and with low development of toxic and corrosive fumes and gases, are suitable for bundle installations in environments at greater risk in the event of a fire due to the high crowding density, high displacement time or high damage to animals and things such as air terminals, railway stations, maritime stations, subways, road and railway tunnels, as per the CEI 64-8: V4 standard, section 751.04.3a, because of their reaction to fire class B2ca-s1a, d1, a1. For cables installed in railway tunnels regulated by the EU Regulation 1303/2014, please refer to the requirements given by the regulation itself. Suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, even in wet conditions, for fixed installation in free air, in pipes or ducts, on masonry and metal structures or suspended. Buried installation is  allowed. Further instructions and warnings for the use of these cables can be found in the CEI 20-67 standard.

 

The "noBurn" cables with IEMMEQU certification are CEI 20-45 (PH 120) marked to indicate that they are fire resistant in compliance with the CEI EN 50200 and CEI EN 50362 standards according to which a minimum operating time of 120 minutes at 820 ° C of the tested cable, subject to direct fire and mechanical shock, is required.
