ICEL Launches Academy for Free Training Courses in Collaboration with Randstad Italy

 

Lugo, Dec 13, '23 - ICEL, the renowned company from Lugo specializing in the production of electric cables, is pleased to announce the launch of the ICEL Academy, a training project realized in collaboration with Randstad Italy. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for unemployed individuals or those seeking employment, providing a free course for electric cable production workers.
The course will be conducted in full-time mode, with a total duration of 40 hours. This will not only provide fundamental technical skills in the field but also offer the opportunity to obtain a forklift license, a valuable skill for those working in this area.
The Recruiting Day will be held on Wednesday, January 10, starting at 2:30 PM, at the Employment Center of Lugo in Piazzale Carducci 16. During the event, the Academy project will be presented, and participants will have the opportunity to submit their resumes and participate in the selection to become part of the exclusive group of trainees.

ICEL, founded in the first half of the 1950s and becoming a cooperative in 1978, is today a leader in the electric cable sector, both in Italy and Europe. With an impressive extension of over 76,000 sqm, ICEL employs more than 260 people and boasts an annual turnover of nearly 300 million Euros. In addition to its main plant in Lugo, the company operates other facilities in Italy, including the plant in Zingonia, depots in Salerno and Bari, and has recently acquired Alfa Trafili Srl and founded NRG Cables Srl.
